What's in your fridge?

To be honest, my fridge is nearly empty right now because we're heading to a family reunion in a few days, so I'm doing the s-t-r-e-t-c-h it out thing until we go, but based on our norm, I'm amazed of how much my fridge apparently says about me.

What Your Fridge Says About You
You aren't greedy, but you don't really deprive yourself either. You strike a good balance with the stuff you buy.

You tend to be a fairly thrifty person. You splurge occasionally, but you're mostly a saver.

You don't tend to be a very adventurous person, but you do surprise everyone now and then. You have a bit of a wild side.

You are responsible, together, and mature. You act like an adult, even when you don't feel like it.

You are likely to be married - and very busy.

The Old and the New!

Wow, 2 posts in one day. I'm probably going to regret taking the time (I may NEVER unload the dishes and the sink is piled high with dishes!) But, here is goes....

So we've had a baby boom in my family. We've had 3 babies born to the "Todd" family over the last couple months and we've had 3 blessings in 1 month! (Mmmm... lots of good food.) We snapped a shot of the last baby boom and I couldn't resist posting this pic of these 3 adorable little girls. They are finally deciding that they are not merely a threat to their toys, but are starting to play and become friends!
Brinlee, Sadie and Ashlee!

Here's some pics of the next generation of cousin buddies!

It's been awhile!

Hey, Mr. Grumpy Gills. When life gets you down, you know what you gotta do?
MARLIN:
I don't wanna know what you gotta do when life gets you down.

[singing] Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. What do we do?
We swim, swim.

It's been a little while since my last post..... I feel like I've been doing a lot of just "swimming" per se. How does life get so busy! I guess that I should be grateful that I'm keeping up.

Somewhere in the midst of being busy we planted a garden. I haven't really pinpointed why, but somehow gardening for me is very therapeutic. There is such anticipation of reaping what you have sown. It's very rewarding. We go out nearly everyday to watch the progress. Andrew loves it, although the only thing he may actually eat from it are a few peas (he does NOT like veggies) and strawberries. I had meant to post these pictures of the progress awhile ago, but since we seem to be just trying to keep up with life these days, they a little out-dated and we are now enjoying some of the fruits of our labors!

We've had a great year for spinach so far.

Our lettuce is growing like a weed. Unfortunately the mix we planted this year looks more like weeds (in a pretty way), and kind of tastes like them too. So, we'll be sticking with spinach salads I guess.

We have tomatoes, peas, cucumbers, zucchini, green beans and LOTS, AND LOTS OF STRAWBERRIES to look forward to. Mmmm! (Each of those little blossoms will be soon strawberries and this is only HALF of our strawberries.)
